La fin de règne de Chirac



Jacques Chirac a officiellement annoncé qu’il ne briguera pas un troisième mandat à la tête de l’Etat. Après 12 ans passés à l’Elysée, il veut "servir autrement" la France. Le président français n’a pas précisé quel candidat à sa succession il entend soutenir. Nicolas Sarkozy devra donc patienter s’il veut obtenir le soutien du président sortant âgé de 74 ans.
